The Trust's objectives for the new contract are as follows:- • A catering service that is well managed and requires minimal involvement from the Trust's management team. • A strong Contractor Area Manager who will develop and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service, a consistently high quality food offer and spend a substantial amount of time on site at the outset to undertake this. • A Contractor who is proactive in their relationship management with the Trust. • Investment in the Trust's Catering service through increased marketing in return for a tenure of contract. • A higher number of students and staff using the facilities by providing a high quality, affordable and nutritious meal. • A catering service that encourages students to take a heathy and balanced meal. • Food and drinks that look appetising and are attractively presented. • A hospitality service that will help showcase the Trust through events to parents and visitors. • A Contractor that adopts a flexible and proactive approach to all Trust activities. • A service that is professionally merchandised and marketed with discretion and to the mutual benefit of the Trust and the Contractor. • A Contractor that operates using the optimum level of staffing. Bohunt Education Trust ~ Catering Tender

The successful Supplier will be required to provide catering and hospitality services for Bohunt Education Trust. 10 schools are part of the tender, and we are seeking tender submissions for the whole contract. The Bohunt Education Trust is a well-established Multi Academy Trust situated across, Berkshire, Hampshire, and West Sussex and will include at the commencement of this contract the following schools where the successful contractor will be required to deliver a service and meet the requirements of the specification at each school from the contract commencement. The schools which will be part of the tender are: 9 - Secondary Schools 1 – Primary delivered provision •Bohunt School – Liphook, Longmoor Road, Liphook, Hampshire, GU30 7NY •The Petersfield School, Cranford Road, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU23 3LU •Bohunt Wokingham, Remount Drive, Arborfield, Reading, Berkshire RG2 9GB •The Costello School, Crossborough Hill, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 4AL •Bohunt Farnborough, Neville Duke Road, Farnborough, GU14 9BY •Bohunt Horsham, Bailey Road, Horsham, RH12 6AP •Bohunt School Worthing, 65a Broadwater Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 8AH •Priory Southsea, Fawcett Road, Southsea, Hampshire PO4 0DL •Steyning Grammar School, Shooting Field, Steyning, West Sussex, BN44 3RX •Rusper Primary School, 2 Cooks Mead, Rusper, Horsham RH12 4PU (No catering facilities - currently delivered service for FSMs) In addition to this the Multi Academy Trust is expected to grow in the number of schools becoming part of the trust during this contract period, and the provision of catering services within these schools when they have joined the MAT will fall under the scope of this contract. The successful contractor will be expected to provide the service within these additional schools using the same costing model, ratio’s etc they applied to their successful tender submission for the Bohunt Education Trust at the point of tender submission. The duration of the contract for these schools will not be increased, and they will join the contract for the remaining contract period that exists at the point of entry into the MAT. The contract being tendered is for 3 years in duration from 1st September 2026 until 31st August 2029, with the option to extend for further terms of 1 +1 years on the same terms and conditions excluding the right to further extend. The contract will be guaranteed performance in nature. The tender project is seeking to appoint a Contractor whose Initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of all catering services within the trust. The high-quality service levels proposed, should maintain excellent standards throughout, resulting in a new food service offer with consistent high standards of food operations across all schools. Regular customer and parental engagement (using digital platforms and social media) will be required to ensure this is the case moving into the contract term. These new standards of operation should meet the needs of pupil’s moving forward into this contract term. The contract at each school will operate on a guaranteed basis (return or subsidy) with all universal free school meals and free school meals being charged to the client monthly at net food cost only. All hospitality is to be charged on a net food cost basis. The approximate current revenue within the contract annually is in the region of £3.8m for all schools.
