Description

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) is inviting Contractors on a Lot basis to provide Specialist Cleaning & Decontamination Services to the North West Police Region.
Contractors should be able to undertake specialised cleaning, decontamination (including disinfestation if required) and vaporisation/fogging (infection) control of cells and vehicles services across the region with a response time and arrival on site of under 4 hours on a 24 x 7 hour basis 365/366 days per year,with no exceptions.
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary (CC) intends to establish a Framework Agreement with each participating Force entering into their individual call-off contracts. Currently there is commitment from Cheshire Constabulary, Greater Manchester Police, Merseyside Police and North Wales Police with the potential for Lancashire Constabulary and Cumbria Constabulary joining at a later stage.

Somerset Council has a need to procure one or more contractors to cover the cleaning of sheltered housing meeting halls, extra care housing meeting halls, communal areas within flat blocks, and have ad-hoc arrangements in place, for example the removal of graffiti, deep cleaning and disposal of sharps. The requirement is divided into two workstreams as follows: Workstream 1 Communal cleaning in meeting halls and extra care schemes (including specification for adhoc deep cleans and other adhoc requirements) Workstream 2 cleaning of communal areas in flat blocks (including specification for adhoc deep cleans and other adhoc requirements). These workstreams will be procured under three separate Lots. Workstream 1 is being procured under Lot 1 Communal cleaning in meeting halls and extra care schemes (including specification for adhoc deep cleans and other adhoc requirements) Workstream 2 is being procured under two separate Lots, 2 and 3 as follows: Lot 2: 50% geographical split of cleaning of communal areas in flat blocks (including specification for adhoc deep cleans and other adhoc requirements). There are sub-Lots 2A and 2B to allow potential bidders to respond to potential service and price options. The preferred Lot for award is under sub-Lot 2A which is evaluated within the budget available, so any bid under this Lot must be priced within the available budget described below.
