Description

The overall scope of work represents the provision of cleaning services to the buildings at South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council site(s) (as per Appendix A1 - A5), this identifies the cleaning requirements of areas and their associated footfall also the acceptable standards of cleaning.
A schedule of Buildings and their cleanable square meterage can be found in Appendix A1 - A5.
This being an output-based specification; the Contractor is invited to decide upon the type and frequency of any cleaning tasks to be carried out on a daily or weekly basis. The expected standards are set out in the Outcome criteria’s (Appendix A6 Base Line Services). The Contractor must satisfy themselves that their proposed frequencies will maintain an acceptable standard.  Two of the buildings in scope only currently require a weekly clean, Tavy Business Centre and 20 Plymouth Road as identified on the building information and room data documents for each site.
As a guide a minimum recommended frequency is listed in the Building Information and Room Data sheets (see Appendix A3 - A5).

This scope of work represents the provision of cleaning services
The two main service types are:
•	Base Line Services: General continuous cleaning requirements.
•	Demand Services: Additional cleaning input

Public Toilet Cleaning

The public toilets are facilities seen by the Council as providing an essential public service to residents of the county and its visitors. The Services entails cleaning of 25 public conveniences, the waiting room at the Park & Ride (including window cleaning, located within High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Amersham and the surrounding areas) and the cleaning of 3 sets of stairs and lift at Amersham Multi-Storey Car Park.
