Description

The Contracting Authority, as defined in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as amended, for this contract opportunity is Tarbed Limited (‘Tarbed’). Accordingly, Tendering Organisation successful in the procurement process will enter into a contract with Tarbed.
Linc-Cymru Housing Association Limited (‘Linc’) are conducting the procurement process on behalf of Tarbed. Tarbed is a 100% owned subsidiary of Linc. Tarbed is a limited company registered under the Companies Act 2006 and undertakes development activity solely on behalf of Linc.
Tarbed is seeking a suitably skilled and experienced contractor to undertake the completion contract for the Sunnyside Wellness Village. Sunnyside Wellness Village includes fifty-nine (59) residential units and a Health Centre. The contract involves provision of a fully completed development including construction of the new buildings together with site preparation works, external works including extensive landscaping and drainage as well as required highways works.
Tarbed is working with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as a Third Party Employer involved in the project.

Lifecycle and Welfare

Thames Water wishes to award one framework agreement to suppliers capable of project design, building renovations, remedial works and/or the provision and maintenance of welfare cabins. Due to the varying age of buildings and structures within the Thames Water estate, there is need to carry out renovation and remedial works in order to ensure they remain safe and fit for purpose. The Framework Agreement will cover the following works: Consultancy (Project Design), Internal & External Works (London area), Internal & External Works (Thames Valley and Home Counties), Roofing, Asbestos Consulting, Asbestos Treatment and Welfare Cabins. In parallel, although on a slightly different timetable, Thames Water is also running a procurement exercise for facilities management services whereby there are some common areas of work with this procurement exercise. GB-Romford: YMCA Thames Gateway - 2026 Development

Building construction work. Multi dwelling buildings construction work. Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services. YMCA Thames Gateway is seeking a Pre Construction Services Agreement, enabling works, and a main design and build contract for the redevelopment of its Romford site. The scheme will deliver a six storey supported living centre to BREEAM Excellent standard, comprising approximately 3000 square metres of supported accommodation with 184 en suite units, resident amenity spaces, ancillary staff facilities, and cycle storage. The development also includes flexible ground floor studios approximately 300 square metres, Use Class Sui Generis, publicly accessible open space, landscaping, sustainable drainage systems SuDS, a stormwater creek connecting to the River Rom and reconfigured access and parking. Sustainability measures will feature low carbon materials, solar panels, and air source heat pumps for heating, cooling, and hot water. This development will be part funded from by the Greater London Authority and will be subject to the terms of the funding agreement. YMCA Thames Gateway reserves the right to assign or novate contracts to a Special Purpose Vehicle SPV or related entity where required to support funding, delivery, or asset management arrangements.
