Description

The procurement process is structured to contain 2 lots. Lot 1 is for Play provision and seeks to appoint play providers capable of delivering play opportunities for CYP aged 5 to 14 years across the county borough. Lot 2 is for Youth provision and seeks to appoint youth providers capable of delivering youth opportunities for CYP aged 11 to 25 years across the county borough . Both opportunities will require providers to deliver freely chosen open access opportunities from various sites across RCT.
The services to be procured under this ITT are applicable to regulations 74-77 under chapter 3 for Social and other specific services known as “Light Touch Regime”. Therefore, the Council is not obliged to comply with the full extent of the Regulations, only those parts which apply to the Light Touch Regime. This process will operate as an 'Approved List' that will quality assure providers. In order to obtain a position on the 'Approved List' providers will need to pass a questionnaire.
The process will run in 2 Stages:
1st Stage will be open for a reduced period of time to capture as many responses as possible. This will close for evaluation at 12:00 22nd June 2022.
Once Providers have been notified following evaluation, 1st Stage will shut down, and the 2nd Stage will commence. The 2nd Stage will remain open and available for the approved list duration (2 year initial period, and options to extend on an annual basis subject to reviews and funding), allowing new providers to express their interest and apply to join one or both Lots at any time. Unsuccessful Providers will also be given the opportunity to reapply until successful.

Harrogate Court Extra Care Scheme

The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver care and support to tenants of Harrogate Court along with housing related and general wellbeing support and a community hub, providing a high quality service at all times. Care and support packages will be delivered in line with assessed need. It will be a 24/7 service including first response. The contract will be for a period of five years with the option to extend for a further five 12 month periods. Harrogate Court is a 50-bed apartment extra care scheme, for People aged 55 and over. The scheme has 21 one-bedroom apartments and 29 two-bedroom apartments. All apartments are for rent. (There is also a communal lounge, laundry room, hairdresser, restaurant , shop and guest room. It is a requirement of this contract that you hold a CQC rating of good or above from the start and for the duration of this contract. Harrogate Court is not currently registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), on contract award the successful provider must commence the CQC registration process. Until the service and manager are both registered with CQC, the successful provider must ensure that the service is overseen by a registered manager or CQC nominated individual, to provide consistent support to the manager. The nominated individual or registered manager designated must currently be responsible for a care service which is currently rated as ‘Good ‘or above with CQC.

Provision of Childcare at Hengoed Primary School

Hengoed Primary School have a demountable on the school site to support the delivery of childcare places to the children and families of the local area. They are looking for expressions of interest for a Childcare Provider to offer the following childcare places : • A morning and afternoon playgroup • An afternoon wraparound to support delivery of childcare places under Childcare Offer for Wales. • An afterschool club The provider may also be required to deliver Enhanced Provision and Flying Start Outreach funded placements’ The childcare provision would operate adjacent to the school nursery building, to enable a smooth transition between the school nursery provision and the childcare unit. (See site plan at Annex 2). The school Governing Body is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from childcare providers who are registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to develop this provision. The EOI is open to existing providers who wish to develop new satellite provisions, new providers and to childminders who wish to register as a group-based provision for 2-year-olds and upwards. It is anticipated that this provision will be registered ready for delivery from September 2025. Expressions of Interest should be no more than 1000 words and should demonstrate how you intend to deliver the service as described in Annex 1 below. Please ensure you cover the following points in your response: • How you intend to offer a seamless quality service • How you will work closely with the school • How you will work in partnership with parents, school staff, other professionals, and those with parental responsibility to keep them informed of a child’s time at the childcare provision? • Your vision of a high quality and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors.
