Description

Pobl Group in collobaration with Sero Energy is working  to manage the delivery of the project.
This project will aim to tackle fuel poverty, as well as improving the wellbeing of its customers and minimise energy costs across the portfolio of homes in Penderry, Swansea.
The key elements of this project are the installation of the solar PV with associated G98 DC Coupled Hybrid Inverter / Battery Storage or G99 Fast Track AC Coupled Battery Storage with separate Inverter. The project will also be futureproofed with the supply and installation of home hub and smart heating control.
Project purpose
Changes in the energy sector offer the potential to add value to Pobl’s property assets.
The project aims to achieve the following:
-	Demonstrate a scale solution to retrofit of solar PV and home battery storage,
-	Large scale implementation of an “Energy Island” within a customer community,
-	Provide power generation, flexibility, storage, discharge, and grid export,
-	Demonstrate the value of flexibility in an aggregated residential scenario whilst offering significant energy bill savings to customers.

Energy Efficiency & Renewable Technology DPS

This Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) has been established to support the inspection, repair, and replacement of energy efficiency measures and renewable technology installations. Through this DPS, public sector bodies will have access to qualified suppliers who can deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions that contribute to decarbonisation targets and environmental sustainability.
