NARU are tendering for the 3rd generation of Incident Ground Technology (IGT) for Ambulance Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART) across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. 
IGT provides a demountable secure IT capability at the scene of an incident with transmission back to the Trust. The IGT also provides two-way communications using voice, data, video across a number of platforms including body worn cameras, drones, independently of other networks. The current system uses both 3/4g and satellite communications as a backup.
The situational awareness software has been selected. The software is Airbox Mosaic https://airboxsystems.com/mosaic/ . All systems within the remainder of the solution must be compatible with and meet the minimum requirements of the Airbox Mosaic software. Both iOS (Apple) and Android solutions are required for mobile devices as Ambulance Trusts have differing IT Strategies for devices.

Brent is the lead council in the respect that it is the employer for all officers within STS and also carries out procurements and contracts on behalf of STS. The services provided by STS include the procurement and management of IT related services for each of the three councils. The procurement is undertaken in accordance with the Procurement Protocols in the IAA.
