Collegiate Trust Cleaning Tender

The Collegiate Trust is a family of schools that exists to improve education in Croydon, Crawley and the surrounding areas for children and young people up to the age of 19. The Trust is tendering their cleaning services in 6 schools in two lots of three schools each with a contract start date of 20th December 2025 and is for an initial three-year term ending on 31st December 2028. The current contract with Purgo in 6 schools has ended prematurely and the start date of the new contract is the 20th of December 2025. As a result of the challenging timelines, the Trust is using an accelerated competitive flexible process. In this section we include all of the relevant information you will need to prepare your tender response. Some of the LGPS Pensions and the ability to achieve admitted body status with Croydon Pensions is essential. The Collegiate Trust is looking for a professional cleaning contractor to deliver an excellent level of service throughout the year on all campuses. A working partnership will be essential to support the Trust’s requirement to reduce operating costs moving forward. The projected turnover for the three-year initial term of the contract is expected to be circa £2,490,000 for both lots. Should the Trust not be convinced of this they reserve the right to revert to an ‘insourced’ solution or post no award for some or all of the schools.

Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Girls ~ Cleaning Tender

Tunbridge Wells Girls’ Grammar School (TWGGS) is a selective secondary school located in Tunbridge Wells in Kent. The tender project is seeking to appoint a Contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of service within the existing facilities for the 1124 students on roll and 110 teaching and support staff. The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029 and will operate as a Fixed Price Contract, with the successful Contractor offering the School a cost per annum for the provision of cleaning services. The School year is based on a calendar of 195 days. Five days are to be used for staff professional development which means that School will be open to receive students for the legal minimum of 190 days. The contract offered covers the scope for the provision of cleaning services within the School. The summer deep clean is currently contracted separately, but will now be incorporated into this cleaning contract. We have a total of nine separate buildings on our school site. A site map is provided. Whilst the School prioritises value for money as a key objective of the Competitive Tender Process, the Governing body is not obliged to accept the lowest price. The value of the current contract is: - 2024/25 (April 24 to March 25) - £138,712 + VAT Summer 2025 deep clean - £10,166 + VAT TWGGS expects the successful contractor to enable the continued development of cleaning services. The School expects the successful tenderer to evidence, through their bid, how they shall support and complement its values and support the principles of the school.
