Description

The University has refreshed its ‘Workforce Strategy’ which outlines the need to create a work environment
that enables our staff to thrive both as individuals and teams, contributing to the University’s success. More
specifically, the University aims to encourage and promote physical, spiritual and mental health and wellbeing
for all of our staff. As part of this strategy, a key goal is to introduce pro-active measures to manage and
reduce sickness absence across the University. To this end, the University has introduced a number of health
and well-being initiatives.

The University of Northampton is seeking an Occupational Health accredited single provider who is approved by Northamptonshire Local Government Pension Scheme Administrator Authority who can deliver a full Occupational Health service to approximately 2500 employees. Services required include pre-employment checks, management referrals, health surveillance, an employee assistance programme, mediation, counselling programmes. The University of Northampton require an annual minimum retainer invoiced monthly in arrears to cover Occupational Health service for employees, the Contract shall be for a period of 3 years with the possibility entirely at the University's discretion for up to 2 further 1 year extensions.
