The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to put in place a Framework Agreement which will include a number of Contractors, to work in partnership with the Council for the processing of scrap metal and lead acid batteries as cost-effectively as possible, maximising recovery and recycling opportunities and providing an income to the Council in respect of this waste stream.

Harborough District Council will shortly be tendering for a single supplier to run a service consisting of the recyclable and waste collection services, as well as street cleansing and grounds maintenance services. The London Borough of Hillingdon (LBH) is inviting Tenders for the Collection, Sorting and Recycling of Dry Mixed Recyclable Materials. The Contractor will be responsible for the collection and processing of Contract Material and the marketing and transfer of Recyclable Materials to reprocesses.
