Description

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) in collaboration with Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST) are seeking to appoint suitably qualified consultants to provide professional services and advice to each organisation.
The tender will be split into eighteen lots based on location and discipline and suppliers will have the opportunity to bid for one or more lots.
The term of the contract will be 3 years with an option to extend, at the sole discretion of the contracting body for up to an additional 1 year.

CP2648-25 : Retrofit Coordination and Design Services for Warm Homes - Local Grant

The Warm Homes: Local Grant Programme (WH:LG) is a UK Government funded Scheme to deliver energy efficiency building fabric and low carbon heating improvements (measures) to households living in poorly performing homes (Energy Performance Certificate rating of D or below) across England. The scheme will deliver upgrades to eligible Applicants in both privately owned properties and privately rented properties, both on and off the gas grid. Applicants can be homeowners or tenants. Devon County Council (DCC) are delivering this scheme on behalf of the following Local Authorities in Devon: East Devon, Exeter, Mid Devon, North Devon, Teignbridge, Torbay and Torridge (The Consortium). DCC is a Grant Recipient within the terms of the Scheme. The £5.25m WH:LG Programme will run from April 2025 to April 2028 and has a target of delivering retrofit to c200 properties across the Local Authority areas listed above. The properties being treated under this Scheme may include detached / semi-detached / terraced houses, bungalows, park homes and low-rise flats. The measures being offered to Applicants by DCC under this Scheme are contained within Eligible Measures for inclusion within the DCC WH:LG Scheme. There may be a possibility to increase the number of properties delivered within the Scheme by DCC applying for an increase of WH:LG funding. Any application for an increase in funding is dependent on Programme performance and National level funding underspend that may or may not be available and is in no way guaranteed. If an option to extend the delivery Programme is available to DCC it is expected that this contract will be extended to ensure continuity. The Programme will be delivered within PAS 2035:2023 and PAS 2030:2023 as its delivery specification (other relevant standards are located in Technical Standards used to deliver the Works). All PAS 2030 & 2035 documentation and works must be successfully lodged with Trustmark to qualify for grant funding.

ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL CONSULTANT’S PROFESSIONAL SERVICES for Deeside Police Station New Build

North Wales seek to source the professional services of a qualified architect to work with the project manager for the Deeside Police Station new build. North Wales Police wish to build a Police Station on the existing site at Wepre Drive, Connah’s Quay, Deeside, Flintshire. Capital Project at Deeside consisting of providing a temp Police Station, demolition of existing Police Station and construction of a new Police Station and associated external works. This will be a design and build process for the construction and a separate tender process will take once planning is approved, we will then novate the architect over to the awarded construction contractor. All personnel who will be involved in the works will have to be security vetted through Warwickshire National Vetting Services. The contract commencement date is to be advised later and will, once awarded, run for a minimum period of one year and until the build is completed. BaDC-1423 Stock Condition Survey for Bassetlaw District Council

Bassetlaw District Council is seeking to engage consultancy services to undertake stock condition surveys. This will form part of the Council's quality assurance procedures that will provide third party assurance for our stakeholders and the Regulator, should this be required. In summary, the Council is moving forward with its surveying programme and requires an exercise to provide independent assurance regarding its stock condition database and critically, its ability to accurately inform the Business Plan and provide Decent Homes Reports. This will form two parts: > A desktop analysis of our stock condition database to consider its completeness and ability to produce an overall cost output > A stock condition survey exercise covering new surveys and recent survey work undertaken by our team Further information on the requirement can be found in the Specification. The Council proposes to enter one contract for an initial period of thirty six (36) months with the preferred supplier with an option to extend for a further period of twenty four (24) months making a maximum period of sixty (60) months in total (3+2 = 5 years).
