OS is a private limited company (company registration number 09121572), and the entire share capital is owned by the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology. Ordnance Survey is split into– Consumer, Geospatial Data Services, Customer and Corporate Services. However, this contract and the subsequent sections relates to Consumer only. This contract OS is looking for the potential bidder to have links to authors, who can walk the routes and provide content for the guidebooks. The bidder will also carry out all the design work to meet our current design specification, supplying the final design file, to enable the guidebooks to be printed.
