Description

The provision of a Learning & Development Managed Service, throughout England.
Highways England is seeking to establish an agreement for the provision of managed training services.
The successful managed service provider/s will be responsible for the sourcing, administration and management of a variety of customer training requirements.
The key aim of the agreement will be to promote efficiencies and consistency.
Highways England requires a Managed Service Provider to deliver Learning & Development (L&D) training and development across:
- leadership and management training and programmes,
- a common, centralised curriculum offer across the company, providing a range of products/services,
- general business, administrative, behavioural and professional training and formal qualifications, across all business functions,
- professions/functions/specialisms including but not limited to project management, commercial skills, financial management, digital skills,
- specialist training and qualifications, related to the infrastructure sector
- operational training, inclusive of traffic officer training and sector specific health and safety training
- The Roads Academy (an industry leadership academy)
- learning and development consultancy services,
- executive coaching,
The service will also provide services which may include, administration, scheduling, bookings, venues, evaluation, management information reporting and analysis, sourcing and procurement, supply chain management and invoicing of services purchased.

Education Durham Select List of Specialist Providers

This Agreement ("the Contract") is for a Select List of multiple external consultants who will be called on by Education Durham to provide support to Durham schools when required; to ensure the highest quality opportunities and outcomes for all children and young people in County Durham. The Select List being proposed here is to establish ways of supporting the work of Education Durham by supporting Durham Primary and Secondary schools/academies, with the following deliverables: • Delivery of School Leadership Advisors visits and Head Teacher Performance Management within schools. • providing guidance relating to Subject specific and/or areas of school improvement, including supporting schools in their self-evaluation through, for instance, work scrutiny; • planning and delivering courses and in-school contracts relating to Subject specific and/or areas of school; • providing as required, support to improve teaching through coaching and modelling best practice • supporting schools to ensure consistency of progression and inclusion; • Supporting schools to challenge underperformance in teaching wherever encountered. • Complete and evaluate in school contracts and training events • Participation in Education Durham planning and development activities, evaluated by Lead Advisors and Strategic Managers • planning and delivering courses and in-school contracts relating to Subject specific and/or areas of school; The need for additional support can be for a variety of reasons including, impending Ofsted Inspections, outcomes of an Ofsted Inspection resulting Schools being rated as "special measures" or "requires improvement". This is an open arrangement where suppliers can bid during the lifetime of the contract. The Council makes no guarantee to any Provider that they will be awarded any work under this Select Provider List and no guarantee is made in respect of any volume of work under any such agreement, or in aggregate under the contract. The Contract provides for no form of exclusivity and the Council is at all times entitled to enter into other contracts and agreements with other Providers for the provision of any of these Services. Each Provider should understand that their submission constitutes an acceptance to the Council of the terms of the Contract. The contract affords the Provider merely the opportunity to respond to an invitation from the Council for the provision of services. This is an Open list that allows for submissions to be received throughout the duration of the contract.
