Description

The BFI IMAX building is located in the centre of the Waterloo roundabout in Central London in a prominent position opposite Waterloo Station. It is an iconic site, at the centre of 4 main vehicular routes – including Waterloo Bridge. The building opened as an IMAX cinema in May 1999 and is still in use as a cinema. In 2012, the operation of the cinema was outsourced. This contract is now up for renewal and the BFI is therefore re-tendering to the market. An in-house bid from a BFI Bid Team will be run alongside the tender process and be evaluated against the same evaluation criteria. This bid will be independently run and submitted.

Leicester City Council invites proposals from suitably qualified Funfair operators for a funfair - at Humberstone Gate West, Leicester LE1 3PH for its Tourism; Culture & Inward Investment Team. Other city centre sites may be considered in future years and during the life of the contract. City Centre funfairs are one of the focal points of the school holiday periods in Leicester each year (the tender documentation provides the dates) with Christmas having special themed attractions. T2562 PEACEPLUS Sport for Peace

The Sport for Peace Project is to deliver a programme of activity for 1600 young people from different communities across Belfast to improve relations through sport. The focus of the contract is to promote peacebuilding and positive change through sport and community engagement across 4 key pillars, which encourages partners to work collaboratively to deliver grass roots programmes to build resilience, develop leadership qualities and encourage playing sports within communities. Pillar 1: Qualification/Coach Education Pillar 2: Participation Pillar 3: Mentoring & Employability Pillar 4: Research The project also involves the establishment and facilitation of a city-wide Sports Consortium. The facilitation of best practice and networking events and cross border shared learning events. The project will engage people from different communities to improve relations through sport. All activity should have a good relations focus and seek to address interface issues. The project forms part of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
