Description

Transport Scotland, on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, has identified the need to appoint suitably experienced Consultants to provide the following services to Transport Scotland:
Review and coordinate utility works programmes associated with trunk road design and construction projects;
Review the correctness and completeness of processes undertaken in accordance with New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, the Town
and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997;
Technically review utility diversion/protection proposals;
Liaise with Statutory Undertakers/Engineer/ Designer/ Contractor;
Review risk management and mitigation; and
Provide specialist technical support and adhoc advice.

The London Borough of Hillingdon ('the Council') has commenced a review of the Local Plan. The Council is seeking to undertake Transport Modelling and an Impact Assessment to support development of the Local Plan. The primary purpose of the Transport Modelling and Impact Assessment ('Strategic Transport Assessment') is to form part of the evidence base for the Local Plan, necessary for developing an appropriate spatial strategy and policies. It will recommend new projects and mitigation to address impacts of the Local Plan and other planned growth nearby. LB Hillingdon - Hillingdon Infrastructure Delivery Plan for the Hillingdon Local Plan.

The London Borough of Hillingdon has commenced a review of the Local Plan. The Council is seeking to undertake an Infrastructure Delivery Plan. The primary purpose of the Infrastructure Delivery Plan is to form part of the evidence base for the Local Plan, informing policy drafting and site allocations. It will also include an Infrastructure Delivery Schedule which will be used as a tool for directing and coordinating infrastructure delivery throughout the Local Plan period. The Infrastructure Delivery Plan will also be used when preparing and deciding planning applications to ensure infrastructure requirements are understood and where appropriate contributions from developers are secured. The Council is proposing to update and replace the Local Plan. The strategic and development management policies will be combined into a single document alongside the site allocations. The contract start date is likely to be November 2024. Duration of contract: 18 months The total budget for the project is £40,000.
