Description

This is an award notice for the purpose of establishing a Framework Agreement to provide Winter Maintenance Assistance from 3rd party contractors to cover legislative requirements during winter periods should there be insufficient in-house capacity.
The Framework will be split into 3 Lots covering the following requirements:
Lot 1: Provision of Planned Winter Service Treatments on Priority Footway Routes (AM).
Lot 2: Assistance for Reactive Winter Service Treatment to Footways Network.
Lot 3 Assistance with Miscellaneous Winter related activities within Roads & Footways and other Council locations.

Karibu Community Homes is seeking delivery partners to provide reliable and high-quality Estates Services across its housing stock. The contract will run for an initial five-year term, with an estimated annual value of c. £500,000. The opportunity is divided into two lots: Lot 1 – Grounds Maintenance: Provision of grounds maintenance services across Karibu’s schemes and sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and horticultural care in communal areas. Lot 2 – Communal Cleaning: Delivery of cleaning services in communal areas across Karibu’s properties, maintaining consistent hygiene and presentation standards. Bidders may tender for one or both lots. Each lot will be evaluated separately, and Karibu Community Homes may award one or both lots to the same bidder where this provides best value for money and operational efficiency. The current stage is the Conditions of Participation Stage (CoPS), which focuses on compliance and demonstrable capability.
