Description

The Department for the Economy is awarding a 4-5 month Direct Award Contract to carry out an evidence gathering exercise in relation to Further Education (FE) to inform a review of the FE delivery model in Northern Ireland (NI). The estimated value of this DAC is £250,000 for the period 17 January 2022 - 31 May 2022.

P2025-195 - Invitation to Tender - SmartNano Event Services - Northern Ireland

SmartNanoNI is a project supported by UKRI through the Strength In Places Fund. It covers photonics, advanced engineering, data analytics and smart manufacturing across all of Northern Ireland. The SmartNanoNI project partners are: • Seagate • Analytics Engines • Causeway Sensors • Cirdan • Yelo • Digital Catapult • Ulster University • Queens University Belfast • North West Regional College The project has a number of specific KPIs it wishes to engage external support to help develop and improve. These KPIs are KPI2) Number REF Case Studies, KPI4) GVA per Employee, KPI8) Number of Companies Upskilling or Reskilling. An external supplier is sought who will be able to operate network or cluster that will support SmartNanoNI’s activities and goals. It will be predominantly focused on the North West Region of Northern Ireland but it will have some level of engagement across all of Northern Ireland. It is anticipated the work contracted will allow a range of companies to engage with skills development programmes, that impacts will be collected and reported on and that there will be introductions made bringing Northern Ireland companies into contact with SmartNanoNI partners. Digital Catapult shall retain ownership of all images and footage shot and developed on our behalf. At the end of the contract, all code, assets, documentation and files will be handed over to and owned by Digital Catapult. The main location to be serviced under this Agreement is within the Northern Ireland area, and there may be a need for meetings there as appropriate.
