IMO Fire Door Works - Phase 1 Riser Doors

Fire Door Remedial Works – Phase 1 The works are summarised as follows: • Fire door repairs (30 doors) • Fire door replacements (61 doors) • Fire door survey of the doors within the scope of works • Associated making good around fire doors • Certification of all associated works in accordance with the employer’s requirements. The contract value is an estimate amount for the works specified in the ITT + contingency for additional works that might be required. The Department is in the process of replacing fire doors within the IMO Building and intends to carry out a subsequent procurement of similar goods, services or works for future phases of the upgrade programme.

The Service and Maintenance of Automatic Doors

Swindon Borough Council are looking to engage with an experienced contractor to provide responsive and scheduled bi-annual maintenance of its automatic doors. The Council expects the contractor to repair any faulty automatic doors as and when required, with an all-inclusive service. This all-inclusive service should include all call out, fault investigation, repairs, labour and materials, travel and related costs during the duration of the contract. It should be noted that the contract shall comprise of the inspection, ongoing maintenance and repair of automatic doors, both planned servicing and also remedial works are within the scope of this contract. This will be required 24 hours, 7 days a week (including weekend and Bank Holidays) working. The contract will be for a period of 3 Years with an optional 2 year extension period and is estimated to commence 1st April 2026. Estimated contract spend is between £250,000.00 - £270,000.00 ex vat across the initial 3 year term and £415,000.00 - £450,000.00 across the full 5 year term.
