Description

The British Council is looking for service providers in France, Germany and Italy who will provide an end-to-end Test Day service to IELTS on Computer test-takers, including the provision of the Test Day venue, venue staff (Invigilators and IT Technician) and Test Day equipment. The British Council will facilitate pre-test and post-test activities, such as registration, apportionment, test marking and results. Tests will be marked by the British Council. The British Council will also provide and cover the cost of Speaking Test Examiners who will deliver Speaking tests remotely to the Test Takers taking the test at supplier’s premises.

Digital and Calibration Tachograph Training 2026

DVSA is looking to procure the services of a contractor to deliver Digital and Calibration Tachograph training. DVSA regulate the tachograph calibration centres and require Traffic Examiner staff, who conduct the site approvals, to understand the process of calibrating tachographs, as part of the approval process of the Approved Tachograph Centres (ATC).  The staff involved in the approval and monitoring of the ATC are geographically spread across the UK and undertake regular inspections of the sites and operations. To do this effectively requires them to be able to understand and experience the actual process of installing a tachograph and calibrating it to a vehicle to meet regulation. The training provided should ensure Traffic Examiner staff are able to conduct consistent and informed site approvals of Approved Tachograph Centres (ATC).  The expectation is to deliver training for up to 15 staff each year. The content must contain the modules as detailed below: Analogue Tachograph Training: Be able to understand the EU regulations & DVSA requirements regarding both the Installation and operation of analogue tachographs.   An understanding of the limited range of repairs Nominated Technicians are able to be carried out on analogue tachographs.  Digital Tachograph Training :  The Digital Tachograph the function, installation, activation, calibration, sealing and downloading of Digital Tachograph recording equipment.  Be able to install digital tachograph systems to all type of in-scope vehicles.  Be able to activate, calibrate, test and seal digital tachograph systems.  Understand the EU regulations & DVSA requirements about both the Installation and operation of digital tachographs.  Be able to download and archive the data from faulty digital tachograph units.

Business Upskilling: Sales Development

You are invited to bid to deliver the “Business Upskilling: Sales Development” which is funded via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). The Council/Invest Telford is committed to supporting local businesses to become more competitive. We are seeking to appoint a supplier that can deliver our requirement of increasing the ability of our local SME businesses to sell more effectively, driving growth within businesses. The project will seek to strengthen their sales capabilities through structured workshops and one-to-one mentoring. The overarching objectives of the project are to: • Improve the sales performance (increased revenue) of Telford-based SMEs; particularly micro and small businesses. • Equip businesses with the skills, knowledge and confidence to grow their customer base. • Enable local businesses to effectively respond to commercial opportunities including public and private sector tenders. • Provide tailored mentoring to address business-specific sales challenges. • Introduce and apply digital tools and techniques to enhance modern sales strategies. We aim to help participants develop their sales skills to more advanced levels with more enhanced techniques such as prospecting, negotiation and closing sales. They will be able to stand out from the competition given increased knowledge and confidence. The project has a UKSPF budget allocation of £65,000 and bidders are asked to specify the number of outputs as a stretch target of between 45 and 60 businesses supported having considered the requirement and funds available. **This DPS will be SUSPENDED from 08/08/25 to 15/09/25 to allow DWP to migrate to a new eProcurement System** Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Employment and Health Related Test and Learn Provision

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has extended the anticipated duration of the the Dynamic Purchasing System for Employment and Health Related Test and Learn Provision by an additional 29 months. The Test and Learn DPS is open ended but now has a nominal end date of 23 February 2029 (the date specified for expiry of DPS's in The Procurement Act 2023 (Commencement No. 3 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Regulations 2024 ("Transitional Regulations")). The Test and Learn DPS Contract can be terminated by DWP with twenty (20) Working Days' notice. This is a Contract Notice for social and specific services in accordance with regulation 75 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended). DWP established the Test and Learn DPS to procure these activities in in England, Scotland and Wales on 9 November 2018. The DPS is for the procurement of social and other services referred to in Regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations (2015) and as such, the DPS was established using a light touch regime. This DPS presents opportunities for organisations, with a focus on innovation and local specialist support, to be involved and test the development of new approaches for employment and health related activity. This will be key to building evidence to support the delivery of future provision at both national and local level. DWP cannot confirm or guarantee any future business through the DPS, but it is anticipated that there will be some limited numbers of proof of concepts / test and learn projects over the duration of the DPS. The T&L DPS is open ended with a nominal end date of 23 February 2029 but can be terminated by the Authority with twenty (20) Working Days' notice. In line with the original OJEU notice, the expected total value of all call-off contracts under the T&L DPS is approximately £20,000,000. This DPS will be for the use of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), its Executive Agencies and those Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) sponsored by DWP.
