Description

This procurement covers the window cleaning services required by Staffordshire County Council and potentially Lichfield District Council and Cannock Chase District Council.
The Authorities seek to maintain a high standard and quality of window cleaning services to its various sites. The Works described in this specification are to be executed by the Supplier in a manner that enhances the Authorities reputation for the cleanliness of its sites. The Supplier must carry out the required services adopting the best cleaning practice including rigorous standards of discipline, cleanliness and tidiness
The provisions contained within this Window Cleaning Services Specification shall be complied with by the Supplier in undertaking the tasks as summarised within the Pricing Schedule, and the Suppliers tender shall be deemed to include for all such costs that may arise through compliance with this Cleaning Services Specification. Should any Optional Tasks be instructed to be carried out by the Premise Managers then the Suppliers tendered rates for such Optional Tasks shall be deemed to allow for full compliance with this Cleaning Services Specification.

Landscape Maintenance and Common Close Cleaning Contract 2025-2027

The Contract will principally comprise landscape maintenance and common close cleaning service. The landscape maintenance services will mainly include litter picking, grass cutting, shrub bed, hedging and leaf collection to existing properties and common landscaped areas throughout Cardonald and Pollokshields, Glasgow to the areas detailed within the Landscape Architects tender drawings. The Contract may also include bulk uplifts, tree maintenance services, tree and stump removal works, and repairs to existing damaged grass and other landscaped areas. The Contract may also include planting and landscaping improvement works at the Queensland Community Gardens estate. The landscape maintenance will initially be undertaken to estates located at St Andrews Drive, Queensland Community Garden and Halfway Park, however Southside Housing Association may introduce additional estates during the Contract that are located on the south side of Glasgow which shall be valued at the rates within Tender Document A where the maintenance requirements are similar in character. The Common Close Cleaning maintenance requirements will principally involve weekly internal and external cleaning to properties, and also monthly & six monthly cleaning activities (refer Specification Items 1-21 described within Tender Document C ‘Common Close Cleaning Specification’ for further information). The Landscape Maintenance and Common Close Cleaning services to the properties described within the tender documentation are currently undertaken by Southside Housing Association’s estates team. However, the nature of the service is changing and it is the intention of Southside Housing Association that the successful tenderer of this procurement will undertake the service after conclusion of this opportunity. The Contract term will be for an initial twenty-one month period commencing on 1st July 2025 with optional annual 1 year + 1 year + 1 year extensions up to a maximum contract completion date of 31st March 2030.

1334 - bpha - Cleaning Services

bpha is inviting Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the delivery of a comprehensive cleaning service contract that supports the organisation’s commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming environments for its customers, employees, and stakeholders. The successful contractor will deliver a wide-ranging set of cleaning services across bpha’s residential estate, communal areas, and office accommodation. The scope of the contract encompasses, but is not limited to: Communal Area Cleaning: Regular cleaning of internal communal spaces including lobbies, stairwells, hallways, lifts, corridors, skirting boards, light fittings, handrails, door panels, and mailboxes across multiple residential blocks. This includes both routine and periodic cleaning tasks to maintain high levels of hygiene and presentation. Window Cleaning: Internal and external cleaning of windows and associated glazing systems, including frames and sills, to all designated buildings. External window cleaning is required on a quarterly basis, while internal glazing will be cleaned monthly. Locations include both low-rise and high-rise properties as detailed in the specification documents. Bin Store Cleaning: Internal and external cleaning of bin storage areas including the removal of litter and debris, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping walls and ceilings for cobwebs, cleaning door frames and windows, and reporting any fly-tipping or hazardous waste. Facade, Ledge and External Feature Cleaning: Periodic cleaning of building facades and architectural features such as ledges, ensuring a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing external appearance. Gutter Clearance: Routine gutter cleaning to prevent blockages and maintain proper rainwater drainage. This includes inspection and safe clearance of gutters and associated rainwater goods on applicable buildings. Office Cleaning: Daily and periodic cleaning services to bpha’s head office facility, including workspaces, meeting rooms, kitchens, WCs, and communal areas, ensuring a clean and professional working environment for employees and visitors. This service is a critical component in bpha’s wider asset and estate management strategy and plays a central role in ensuring health and safety, environmental cleanliness, resident satisfaction, and visual presentation standards are maintained across its portfolio. Contractors will be expected to work in alignment with bpha’s organisational values and to demonstrate how their service delivery approach will contribute to the client’s vision of delivering “Quality Homes and Connected Communities.” The contract will be let as a single lot and will run for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional 12-month periods, subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the Client. The maximum contract duration will therefore be five (5) years. This procurement will be undertaken using the Open Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023 and associated Regulations 2024. The estimated annual contract value is in the region of £[insert figure] per annum, but this is indicative only and subject to change depending on final requirements. The total estimated value of the contract across the maximum five-year term is £[insert total value].
