Description

This contract is for services to deliver Air Brake Training for approximately 550 delegates over the initial contract period for Vehicle Examiners and Post Collision Examiners.
DVSA enforcement Vehicle Examiners are required to conduct examinations of large goods vehicles and public services vehicles. These checks can be part of a roadside inspection, fleet inspection or post collision investigation.
To be able to conduct a full technical inspection the Vehicle Examiners needs to have working knowledge of basic air brake systems as well as more advanced and current technology employed in large vehicle braking systems.
Post Collision Examiners need more in-depth knowledge to allow investigations following vehicle collisions. Post Collision Examiners are required to provide high standard detailed written reports with supporting oral evidence to the Police. These reports are often subjected to close review by defence councils and industry experts.

Provision of Digital Skills Training

Birmingham City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint an organisation for the provision of Digital Skills Training for SMEs and Micro Businesses in Birmingham. Birmingham City Council (BCC), through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), is committed to equipping local organisations with the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed to thrive in today’s digital economy. BCC is inviting proposals from experienced digital training providers and suitably qualified and experienced individuals and organisations to deliver bite-sized, practical digital skills training and Digital Support Vouchers to SMEs and Micro Businesses. The programme aims to strengthen the digital capabilities of local organisations, enabling them to adopt and apply tools that support growth, efficiency, and resilience. The contract(s) being procured have been split into Lots, as follows.
