Description

Connexus is a community focussed rural housing group with over 10,500 homes across Shropshire and Herefordshire. Connexus has a Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) which undertakes the majority of responsive and void (i.e. empty home) repairs. The organisation is looking to procure a framework contract for a range of subcontractors to supplement the work of the DLO, both for general and specialist trades.  There are 9 Lots in total.

BBC Music Studios, East Bank. Fit Out Works

For almost a century, Maida Vale Studios has served as an important asset in supporting the BBC’s commitment to make the widest range of music available to widest possible audience. However, it is clear that the facility is no longer fit for purpose in supporting the BBC’s future aspirations. As such the BBC prepares to welcome a new purpose-built home on the former Olympic site in Stratford, East London. The new site, delivered in association with the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), brings partnerships with the V&A, Sadler’s Wells and UAL, and is designed to house and facilitate the BBC’s live music output from the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, the BBC Singers, and the BBC’s Rock and Pop output. The project is split into two phases: The Shell and Core of the BBC building and masterplan for the site is being delivered by the developer LLDC, the Construction Manager Mace, and the Architects Allies and Morrison. The BBC is responsible for the design and delivery of the Fit-Out of the space. The core project team for the Fit-Out works is shown below:

This invitation to tender is issued by North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium ("NEUPC") for the establishment of a framework agreement for the provision of a range of Roofing Services that will be available to all members of NEUPC, NWUPC and SUPC, where their buildings are situated within the serviced regions. The main services will include; LOT 1 - Planned, Preventative Maintenance Works (including the optional provision of new roof installations or full/partial roof replacement works) and; LOT 2 - Reactive Repair & Maintenance Works. NEUPC has duly considered the use of Lots in this framework and has provided the details of the proposed Lots below. The Lots and the procurement process is considered suitable for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) to bid for. The coverage of each Lot will be broken down into the following serviced regions, with suppliers able to bid for some or all regions providing that all areas within the region can be comprehensively serviced. North-East North West Yorkshire & Humber East Midlands West Midlands Northern Ireland These regions will be broken down in greater detail in the tender documents and be clarified during the Preliminary Market Engagement Session.
