Description

The first strand Service is a short term rehabilitation, reablement and assessment service for Service Users at risk of requiring long term residential/nursing care or to prevent hospitalisation. The second strand is to promptly facilitate the discharge from hospital of in-patients or those presenting for emergency care who have been assessed as clinically fit for discharge but who may, following a further home based assessment, be found to have a need for reablement or rehabilitation and a requirement for short term or longer term support in order to remain at home.
In both cases the Provider will work closely with the Service User, family carers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, other health professionals and known community networks to facilitate a support plan that allows Service Users to remain within their homes.

Tower Hamlets has a significant proportion of children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and learning difficulties; in 2023, the percentage of pupils with an EHCP in Tower Hamlets schools was the fifth highest in England. When a child or young person (CYP) is first diagnosed with ASC, it can be a confusing and overwhelming time for parents/carers. They may not fully understand what the diagnosis means or how best to support their child, or what services are available and how to access them. It is therefore vital that the local authority is able to provide regular and ongoing support to these families, to help meet the needs of their ASC children. The Family Support Service will deliver advice and guidance to the parents and carers of children and young people (CYP) with ASC living in the borough. The service will seek to work in partnership with the Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment Service (ASDAS) and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHs) to ensure that families receive appropriate support at the right time, preferably soon after diagnosis, whilst remaining flexible to meet family's needs at different stages in their journey.

Provision of Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation and Support

Hull City Council (The Authority) is seeking tenders from interested organisations to provide Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation and Support. The tender is split into 3 lots with sub lots. It shall be via the open procedure consisting of a one stage process via the Light Touch Regime. The contract is anticipated to commence 1st April 2026 ending by 31st March 2029 with an option to extend for a period of 2 x 12 month periods. KCC is seeking a suitable organisation to propose and deliver a programme of non-clinical Level 1 Universal Parent Infant Relationship Interventions, to test and pilot new ideas. Level 1 Parent Infant Relationship Intervention will comprise of the following elements. •Creative group sessions – Interactive for parents/families with their baby/Infant •Facilitated group discussion – to include peer and mutual support •One to One support and feedback to parents. The purpose of this parent infant relationship intervention is to help parents to deepen the bond with their baby/Infant. Finding a range of ways for parents to have two-way communication with their baby to help with their relationship and to help baby/infant development. The programme will support parents to learn coping mechanisms and tools to cope with the demands of being a new parent to develop insights and techniques to help them understand their baby/infant's development. This universal intervention aims to help prevent impaired bonding with a baby, promote positive parent and infant mental health and wellbeing and facilitate a stronger parent and infant bonding experience. The pilot is aimed at families that have a baby/infant up to the age of two. As part of this KCC would like to see creative group sessions that offer early support for those families with a newborn/infant up to 6 months. Families are defined as mums, dads, new parents, co parents, partners and carers which include family members who play a vital role in supporting parent infant relationships and the family's mental health.
