Description

The DSPP core platform will be building the fabric for the future of public digital services that will enable secure and seamless sharing of information. The programme will focus on data and technology:
- Need to build on and support exiting activities, initiatives and solutions
- Programme needs to ‘fix’ the data integration challenges
- Desire to support innovation in the market to achieve pace, resilience and thinking
- Build a common platform for terminology, shared solutions and access to resources
- Link to the NDR and develop using standards (technical and health data)
- Influence and adhere to appropriate information governance
- Robust and consistent identity management
- A ‘Centre of Excellence’, will enable learning and adoption of ‘common standards’
but to succeed there needs to be parallel focus on service transformation and adoption. Further specialist consultancy resources are required to continue the programme leadership, technical requirement delivery and stakeholder communication to ensure the vision of the DSPP programme is delivered, plus address any new requirements arising as a result of the changes in the government guidelines regarding the pandemic management and the vaccine programme, as well new strategic initiatives.
