Description

Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) is looking to appoint a firm of Architects to take an
existing design from its current RIBA Stage 1 (Preparation & Briefing) through to RIBA stage
2 (Concept Design) and RIBA stage 3 (Spatial Co-ordination) services in connection with the
Council’s redevelopment works of the Former Royal Mail Sorting Office (FRMSO), and
Cantium House (CH), Maidstone. The RIBA Stage 1 work which is nearing completion will be
shared with those who express an interest in tendering for the project.
The appointment will be made on the basis of services provided up to and including detailed
planning application submission and any liaising with the planning authority as required post
submission to enable a detailed planning consent.

For the provision of a Skatepark build in Margate, Kent. The Employer will enter into a JCT Design and Build contract with the successful specialist contractor with the experience, track record, capability and capacity to deliver a skatepark new build of the scale and complexity outlined in the Appendix A - Specification.
