Description

The provision of a new Driver and Vehicle Agency Test Centre and infrastructure at Mallusk. The Test Centre will be designed to current standards and include vehicle test lanes, a 2-storey administration area and site works including internal roads, car parking and test tracks. A minimum of 10 percent of the overall score at award stage will be based on suppliers’ social value delivery proposals and score. HSE have a requirement to re-purpose an existing structure onsite for use as a façade fire test facility. The structure will be used for experimental projects studying fire spread over the external walls of buildings. Any type of façade construction may need to be tested and so the system has been designed to allow for this. The work required to achieve the objectives of this work, is to install a series of steel beams on to which standard sized fireboards can be attached. The works are required at our Buxton site SK17 9JN.

School Refurbishments Works: Voyage Learning Campus - Milton

North Somerset Council require a Principal Contractor to deliver refurbishment works at the Voyage Learning Campus - Milton, in Weston Super Mare to enhance the council's Alternative Provision and Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) support. The works entail the refurbishment and extension of the existing building within the school grounds and includes: • Phased construction works • Forming of a new entrance area • Removal of existing entrance atrium • Construction of two new single storey classrooms • Light / medium refurbishment works • Replacement of existing roof, 2nr roof lights south of the atrium The refurbishment elements will include both light and medium refurbishment, including new floor coverings, decorations, and moving of some internal walls and partitions.
