Description

Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council procured a new Integrated Substance Misuse Treatment service.
The Councils are also working in partnership with the Office for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire and the National Probation Service – East Midlands, who will provide funding via the Contract to meet specific elements within the service.
The aim of this Integrated Substance Misuse Treatment service is to deliver a trauma informed treatment service for young persons, young adults and adults within Leicestershire and Rutland who are experiencing problematic substance misuse. The service will take a recovery-based approach as well as a whole family approach with the aim of reducing harms and supporting recovery thereby improving overall health, wellbeing and safety.
The Service will be an open access service for all residents of Leicestershire (excluding Leicester City) and Rutland who are seeking support for their substance misuse and will include:
• Community based drug and alcohol services for young people, young adults and adults
• Support for children and young people whose parents are misusing substances
• Blood borne virus testing and vaccination
• Harm reduction services e.g. needle and syringe programmes
• Supervised consumption services
• Inpatient detoxification services
• Residential rehabilitation placements (for Leicestershire residents only)
• Training and development of the wider workforce
• Criminal justice substance misuse services

Asylum Support Services in Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire Council is seeking an experienced supplier(s) to deliver its Asylum support service. SOL Solihull Sanctuary Scheme: Target Hardening Security Measures 2026

Solihull Council would like to procure a specialist property ‘Target Hardening’ service for individuals / families at risk of domestic abuse. The primary focus of the Target Hardening Service will be on improving the physical security of homes in order to deter or prevent perpetrators from forcing their way into the property. This will be achieved through a package of additional security measures. The successful provider will be required to undertake a comprehensive property and perimeter survey to determine the most appropriate package of measures for each property. Each security package will be based on a risk assessment that reflects the type and condition of the property, and the needs and circumstances of those whom will be residing in the property. The successful provider will then be responsible for providing security products which meet the appropriate quality standards, and installing these products within the home.

Supported Accommodation Framework

The Authority is seeking to establish a framework for the provision and delivery of high quality accommodation and/or support for 16-25-year olds, with a specific focus on looked after children and care leavers.
