Description

The University seeks to develop a framework agreement for Architect Consultancy services.It is envisaged that 3 consultants will be appointed to the Framework. A typical schedule of services required can be found in Appendix F.Estimated value of this framework is :-  £175k per annumFor the purpose of this tender award and any subsequent services which may be connected with the original award we reserve the right to spend a further 50% of the anticipated spend subject to changes in University requirements or changes to legislation.The framework will run for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further two years in annual increments.Any commissions under this contract or framework maybe subject to external funding from bodies such as Arts Council, ERDF, Heritage Lottery Fund, LEP etc. and the successful suppliers will be expected to work with the University on any funding applications where appropriate. UKRI-4453 BAU Professional Services Framework

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of a potential opportunity to participate in a construction and estate maintenance related professional services framework to support various building and civil engineering projects as part of the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The STFC intends to engage with potential providers through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) event and subsequent PME activities. The publication of this early engagement opportunity is a voluntary publication and does not represent a commitment by the STFC to initiate, run or complete a full procurement competition in relation to a contract for the services described. The STFC is a world-leading research and innovation organisation, with a unique role within UKRI. UKRI is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The STFC is responsible for hosting and operating many of the UK's largest multi-disciplinary research facilities which are essential to delivering UKRI's collective ambitions. STFC are looking to establish a construction-related professional services framework to serve the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at some of the major facilities listed below - STFC Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire The Cosener's House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire Chilbolton Observatory, Stockbridge The following professional services capabilities are likely to be part of the framework requirements: Quantity surveying Cost management/ Cost modelling Project management Engineering services, for example civil, structural, electrical Planning support and advice Technical design Environmental and sustainability services Feasibility study Architectural and design services The exact Lotting strategy is expected to be finalised after the completion of this market engagement exercise. UKRI will be holding two Supplier Engagement Sessions at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory site on the following dates: 05 December 2024 and 09 December 2024. The sessions will last no more than 3 hours and a maximum of two attendees from each supplier organisation to register for the sessions (start time to be approx 10am, and will be confirmed). Suppliers will have the opportunity to confirm which Engagement Session they will be able to attend (the same information shall be presented on each day). prj_5919 - Thames to Southern Transfer Strategic Resource Option

Southern Water needs to obtain approval to construct a ~85km pipeline plus associated treatment works and other infrastructure, to transfer drinking water from the Thames Water area to Southern Water's network in Hampshire. We are seeking an external partner with multidisciplinary expertise developing and delivering designs for large complex infrastructure schemes including successfully navigating the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, planned for 2030. We anticipate our Technical Partner will be contracted via a single supplier framework, which will provide support to SWS throughout the design phase and examination process. The successful bidder will be required to co-ordinate all works instructed under this proposed framework. The successful bidder will complete the DCO application, including all surveys, environmental studies, "tender ready" outline design and then manage the DCO process to determination. The successful bidder will be Principal Designer for the scheme and Principal Contractor for works which fall under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 ("CDM") during the design phase.
