Description

The University of Sunderland and its subsidiaries are looking to engage with a one stop shop supplier for its Bus and Coach hire with driver requirements from approximately October 2022 to October 2025 (with up to 2 x 1 year extensions taking it to a possible October 2027 contract). The overall contract value is estimated at GBP £900,000 over 5 years’ (the maximum contract length) i.e. GBP £180,000 per annum (excluding VAT where applicable) - note there are no guarantees on spend levels. We also reserve the right to spend an additional 50% of the original anticipated spend, subject to changes to requirements across the University for the duration of the award.Our coach and bus requirements vary throughout the year and in the past have included various student sports team journeys, school visits to and from our Sunderland campuses, open-day shuttle buses across the campuses, airport collections, various student trips across the North-East and beyond (including for example London)

Framework Agreement for Ad-Hoc Minibus and Coach Hire

North Lanarkshire Council (the “Council”) requires the provision of passenger transport services to supplement its existing arrangements managed by Strathclyde Passenger Transport (SPT) for school pupil transport (drop-offs and pickups before and after the school day), and transport for pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN). To enable the delivery of critical / key service provision, the council intends to establish a multi-lot, multi-supplier framework agreement for minibus and coach hire services to provide ad-hoc passenger journeys, primarily for educational purposes but available for use by other Council departments. Transport required via the framework agreement will be used for a variety of purposes, including (but not limited to) one-off day trips, educational visits, cultural excursions and short-term block bookings such as swimming lessons, sports training etc. the framework agreement shall include the provision of appropriately sized and equipped vehicles, qualified drivers, and compliance with all relevant safety and safeguarding standards. Optional elements, such as enhanced accessibility features or additional vehicle capacities, may be considered or sought via the framework agreement but are not mandatory. Further information on the Lots, including applied Sub-Lots is detailed below however it is anticipated that a maximum of seven (7) Contractors shall be appointed to each of the five (5) Lots of the framework agreement. Full information on the Details of Requirements to be applied within the framework agreement are detailed in ITT Annex 1 available via PCS-Tender.

Swindon Borough Council (The Council) has set up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Passenger Transport Services. Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to apply to join the Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision of passenger transport services. The Dynamic Purchasing System has been split into 5 Lots: Lot 1 Bus & Coach – Individual routes / bus services (public, education and social care transport). Lot 2 Minibus - Individual routes (public and education transport). Lot 3 Taxi - Individual routes (public and education transport). Lot 4 Minibus Social Care and Community Transport – this will consist of dial a ride and shopping service, day centre and ad hoc transport requirements. Lot 5 Taxi Social Care Transport - Complete Package of all routes and service needs If you are successfully appointed to the DPS following your submission you will be invited by the Council to submit tenders for relevant services through a call for competition. This DPS remains open for any supplier to request to participate throughout the duration of the DPS.
