Description

The Authority seeks to establish a multi-supplier Framework to provide Energy Efficiency
Retrofit measures in accordance with PAS 2035 for domestic and public buildings along with
any required refurbishment works for its Members and other Public Sector Contracting
Bodies. The tender is split into ten regional lots
• Lot 1 – North East
• Lot 2 – Yorkshire & Humber
• Lot 3 – North West
• Lot 4 – West Midlands
• Lot 5 – East Midlands
• Lot 6 – East of England
• Lot 7 – South East
• Lot 8 – South West
• Lot 9 – London
• Lot 10 - Wales
The authority seeks to appoint up to 8 suitably qualified Principal Contractors per Lot able to
provide the full requirements.

THE PROVISION OF HV/LV ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE

HSE have a requirement to increase the available electrical capacity on their western test sites, namely Turncliffe and Diamond Hill areas. HSE have previously invested in increasing the High Voltage (HV) supplies to these areas, to facilitate an increase in the available Low Voltage (LV) capacity. The types of testing carried out in these areas has changed in recent years, with a focus on EV Batteries and Hydrogen as a fuel for vehicles and for energy. Contract 13 Internal Painting & Decorating including Minor Repairs

North Tyneside Council is seeking tenders to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of both planned and responsive internal painting works in both its housing stock and its non-residential buildings. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. The Authority intends to have two lots, covering housing and non-housing works. Tenderers can bid for one or both lots. Following this tender exercise, it is envisaged that 3 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework in each lot. The framework will consist of an initial term of two years, with two further options to extend by up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority. Works are expected to commence in April 2025.
