Magenta Living uses a combination of solutions to manage waste and are looking to procure
a range of Contracts to deliver waste management solutions that reduce waste to landfill,
provide opportunities for recycling as much as possible those items that are capable of reuse/
recycling, and where possible to redistribute goods capable of reuse/ recycling locally
with a priority for homeless/ disadvantaged people/ including Magenta Living tenants in need

Green Waste Services

The Royal Household is seeking a supplier to provide the following services: •Transportation, processing (shredding/composting) and disposal of green waste from the gardens at Buckingham Palace (BP), Clarence House, Kensington Palace and Marlborough House; •Movement and disposal of horse arisings from The Royal Mews; and •Maintenance of the BP Garden recycling centre by a WAMITAB certified operative (or equivalent), and maintenance of the skips used at each of the sites. Disposal of Trade Waste at Gypsum Close

The Council would like to invite Suppliers to submit a Tender for selection of multiple Suppliers to provide Disposal of Trade Waste at Gypsum Close, Leicester on a non-exclusive basis. The Council will allow multiple suppliers per lot. There are a number of waste types for which collection and disposal may be required. Each waste type is offered as a separate Lot. Suppliers may bid for one Lot or multiple Lots they are able to provide and this must be clearly indicated in your proposal. Gypsum Close has a mixture of open top and compactor hook lift containers which require removing and exchanging from their loading point, emptying and returning to the premises/loading point at Gypsum Close. This includes the exchange of "full for empty" containers within the site recycling area bays and compactors The Contract is split into lots as detailed below: Lot 1 - Bulky General Waste (Mixed Municipal Waste) Lot 2 - General Waste (Mixed Municipal Waste) Lot 3 - Paper & Cardboard Lot 4 - Green Garden Waste (Compactor) Lot 5 - Green Garden Waste (Open Skip) Lot 6 - Hard core & Soil Lot 7 - Wood Lot 8 - Scrap Metal Lot 9 - Plasterboard Lot 10 - Dry Mixed Recyclables Lot 11 - Container swap only Furthermore, Suppliers will be required to register on the Central Digital Platform (a Find a Tender service). TEC Partnership - Waste Management Collection Service

Introduction The TEC Partnership invites all suitably equipped, qualified and registered companies to tender for a contract to provide waste collection services of their sites identified in Part A of this document. During the course of the tender, site locations may vary as the organisation evolves to meet its future vision. Scope of Services The contract requires the provision of trained and skilled labour as appropriate and in direct relation to the undertaking. It is anticipated that whilst this document sets out the requirements and expectations, there may be further needs and adjustments to the provision as the needs of the business operations change. Provision to collect and appropriately dispose of the four default waste streams (as below) will be expected; • Residual (general) non-recyclable waste • Food waste • Paper and card • Dry mixed recycling The collection schedule of the above will vary from site to site and type of waste stream, however in some cases, a daily service will be required. During the term of this contract, sites may be reduced or increased. Decreases will come with no financial liability and any increases will be at the rates agreed within this contract. The successful tenderer will also be expected to provide the appropriate receptacles and collection service for the following: • Confidential waste • Timber • Plaster/plasterboard • Brick • Furniture • Electrical • Metal • Animal waste – including dog waste Ad-hoc Requests There may be occasions that services are requested over and above, or generally differing to those scheduled. Where the service is covered in the scope of the work, it is anticipated that there are no additional charges made outside of the agreed pricing structure for the service. Where tasks are over and above the scope of the tender, through discussion with the Facilities Manager, these may be carried out under a separate purchase order.
