Description

The Council require establish a Winter Maintenance Assistance Framework Agreement for the provision of Contractors assistance during periods of adverse winter weather when all internal resource has been exhausted.  The Framework will consist of 3 Lots:
-Lot 1 for Gritting and Snow Clearing Operations on East and South Ayrshire Roads & Footways;
-Lot 2 for the Supply of Winter Treatment Services on Kilmarnock Town Centre Priority Footways; and
-Lot 3 for On Call Winter Service Treatment on Priority Carriageway Routes.

High Level Maintenance

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) requires a Service Provider to deliver high level building fabric maintenance services. This involves Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive, minor and project change works activities to be undertaken on the high level internal and external building fabric at the Scottish Parliament Building, Holyrood, Edinburgh. The service will also include hard and soft landscaping maintenance and bird pest control. Due to the design and complexity of the building, much of the fabric maintenance is only accessible via rope access. It is considered the highest risk work activity that is undertaken on-site at the Parliament. The SPCB therefore require a specialist Service Provider, with a team based on-site at Holyrood who report directly to the SPCB Facilities Management Team. The Service Provider must hold full Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Operator membership and maintain this for the duration of the Contract.

WGCD Rock Salt and Associated Products Framework

The purpose of this notice is to notify the market of the contract opportunity for the supply and distribution of rock salt and associated deicing products which is being conducted by the Welsh Government Commercial Delivery Division (WGCD). The WGCD acts on behalf of the public sector in Wales to deliver value for money from the procurement of common and repetitive good and services for Wales. The WGCD on behalf of the Welsh public sector wishes to establish a collaborative framework agreement for rock salt and associated deicing products. The framework will replace the current WGCD Rock Salt and Associated Products Framework (NPS-CFM-106-20) when it expires in 2025. The new framework will be made available for use by all WGCD customers. The WGCD is striving to develop a vibrant Welsh economy capable of delivering strong and sustainable economic growth by providing opportunities for everyone in Wales.
