Description

The objective of this procurement is to appoint 2No Economic Operator Teams (EOTs) who will develop the Employer’s Requirements in relation to the delivery and redvelopment of either Lot 1 - Loughry Campus or Lot 2 - Greenmount Campus. The existing campuses do not meet the present need or the accommodation standards. Each appointed EOT shall provide the professional services applicable to RIBA (2020) Stages 0 to 7 and also as specified within this document. The EOT shall develop the design to RIBA (2020) Stage 3 Spatial Coordination before appointing a contracting team to further develop the design and deliver the project throughout all remaining RIBA Plan of Work (2020) Stages 4 to 7. Following the contracting team procurement and appointment the EOT shall undertake the management of the Contracting Team on behalf of the client. UKRI-4453 BAU Professional Services Framework

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of a potential opportunity to participate in a construction and estate maintenance related professional services framework to support various building and civil engineering projects as part of the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The STFC intends to engage with potential providers through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) event and subsequent PME activities. The publication of this early engagement opportunity is a voluntary publication and does not represent a commitment by the STFC to initiate, run or complete a full procurement competition in relation to a contract for the services described. The STFC is a world-leading research and innovation organisation, with a unique role within UKRI. UKRI is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The STFC is responsible for hosting and operating many of the UK's largest multi-disciplinary research facilities which are essential to delivering UKRI's collective ambitions. STFC are looking to establish a construction-related professional services framework to serve the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at some of the major facilities listed below - STFC Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire The Cosener's House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire Chilbolton Observatory, Stockbridge The following professional services capabilities are likely to be part of the framework requirements: Quantity surveying Cost management/ Cost modelling Project management Engineering services, for example civil, structural, electrical Planning support and advice Technical design Environmental and sustainability services Feasibility study Architectural and design services The exact Lotting strategy is expected to be finalised after the completion of this market engagement exercise. UKRI will be holding two Supplier Engagement Sessions at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory site on the following dates: 05 December 2024 and 09 December 2024. The sessions will last no more than 3 hours and a maximum of two attendees from each supplier organisation to register for the sessions (start time to be approx 10am, and will be confirmed). prj_5919 - Thames to Southern Transfer Strategic Resource Option

Southern Water needs to obtain approval to construct a ~85km pipeline plus associated treatment works and other infrastructure, to transfer drinking water from the Thames Water area to Southern Water's network in Hampshire. We are seeking an external partner with multidisciplinary expertise developing and delivering designs for large complex infrastructure schemes including successfully navigating the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, planned for 2030. We anticipate our Technical Partner will be contracted via a single supplier framework, which will provide support to SWS throughout the design phase and examination process. The successful bidder will be required to co-ordinate all works instructed under this proposed framework. The successful bidder will complete the DCO application, including all surveys, environmental studies, "tender ready" outline design and then manage the DCO process to determination. The successful bidder will be Principal Designer for the scheme and Principal Contractor for works which fall under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 ("CDM") during the design phase.
