Description

The goal of this procurement project is secure 3D Design Services for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Kew Gardens and Wakehurst). RBG, Kew requires 3D Design services from time to time. These services include the following types of projects:
• Design and technical drawing for sign furniture
• Design and technical drawing for display or exhibition furniture
• Advice on the relative costs, sustainability and longevity of proposed materials and production processes
Kew intends to put in place a multi-year, non-exclusive, ranked Framework Agreement of approved Suppliers. The period of the initial Framework Agreement is intended to be 4 years.
This Framework is designed to ensure that Kew can run efficient, effective and compliant procedures to appoint Suppliers for individual pieces of work during the Framework period.
It is envisaged that we will appoint between 3 and 5 suppliers to the framework

The Client is seeking to engage with quality providers to deliver a service that will provide industry specific diagnostics and specialised support to organisations in Wales. To enable and support Welsh organisations to improve productivity and accelerate NPD through embracing digital technologies, employing an Industry 5.0 approach to create a more resilient and sustainable business base. The successful bidder will be awarded an initial 12-month contract with the option to extend annually for a further 2 years on a plus 12-months plus 12 months basis. A maximum budget of up to GBP 277,500 per annum (excluding VAT) has been allocated to deliver the contract. Please be aware this is a demand led service, therefore there is no guaranteed level of expenditure. The maximum value is based on historical need for the contract and the maximum funding we have available.

Sandwell Design Code (Supplementary Plan)

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced multi-disciplinary consultancy to prepare a Design Code for the Borough and for the consultant’s team to assist the Councils Planning Policy team in taking this through as a Supplementary Plan The team would be expected to comprise of, but not limited to, the following specialisms, urban design, planning, architecture, landscape, ecology, transport, heritage and consultation/event specialists. A fixed fee proposal is required to carry out the Design Code Supplementary Plan. Sandwell Council have allocated up to £250,000 net of VAT for provision of these services and the contract period will be for 19 months starting 21st March 2025 to 21st October 2026. However, this information is intended to assist with the preparation of your bid. The Council does not bind itself to this or any other figure and is not a guarantee of business which may be generated from this contract.

British Museum Brand and Identity Project Phase II Design

The British Museum is embarking on a complete transformation and as part of that journey we have launched a project to review and re-imagine our brand and our visual/vocal identity. Increasing activity around the Museum’s masterplan, and the arrival of a new museum Director in 2024 makes now the right moment to consider our vision and values, review our brand and move forward with a compelling new approach to how we communicate and present ourselves. The Brand and Identity Project will deliver this transformation. It is being conducted in two phases. In Phase 1 research will be conducted to understand the Museum’s position in the global context followed by a brand audit leading to the creation of a brand strategy. An agency has been appointed to Phase I and work is now underway. In Phase II, which is the subject of this procurement exercise, we are looking for a partner to work with us to translate our new vision and values, and the brand strategy developed in Phase I, into a coherent and compelling visual and vocal identity. This identity should comprise a clear system that conveys the brand idea and narrative in such a way that it can be used and applied consistently to internal and external products and services, across our many audiences, locally, nationally, and globally.
