Description

Derry City and Strabane District Council seeks to commission an ICT to undertake the Design, specification, procurement, supervision and overall project management from RIBA Stage 0 through to RIBA Stage 7, of the following proposed works within the Castlederg area: - 1. Connectivity- Which involves: (i) The delivery of new greenway infrastructure on lands in the ownership of Dergview FC to the south west of the town; and (ii) New lighting provision to be installed on recently delivered greenways at both Castle Park (Council owned) and St. Eugene’s GAC grounds (Council will have an easement over the delivered greenway); 2. Castle Park- To deliver environmental improvements and a new play park at the Council owned and maintained Castle Park; and to deliver a new mini-play park at St. Eugene’s GAC grounds; 3. Public Realm- The aim of this project element is to upgrade the existing public realm facilities at both the Diamond and Young Crescent, off the Upper Strabane Road 4. Working in close consultation with the Employer, the ICT will be required to provide designs that meets the strategic aims and objectives of Derry City and Strabane District Council.
