Herefordshire County  has secured Sustainable Warmth Competition funding from BEIS to improve the energy efficiency of an estimated 150 domestic properties by the end of March 2023, and have appointed Contractor(s) to carry out a programme of whole-house retrofits using a fabric first approach to install energy efficiency measures (excluding fossil fuels) to improve the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) of a number of domestic properties located within the county

GRP Thermal Improvements and Door Canopy Renewals

It is proposed that Unitas will be assuming the role of Principal Contractor on this project and intend to appoint a single contractor to carry out the works. Unitas will provide all necessary welfare facilities. This project consists of removal of existing tile hanging and or shiplap boarding and existing door canopies, making good structures as required and replacement with new GRP insulated panels and door canopies, together with associated enabling works including any asbestos removal works, to 30 properties.
