Description

InterTradeIreland wishes to appoint a Contractor to deliver its Acumen Programme which aims to assist SMEs in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to overcome barriers to, and develop, new cross-border business. The Programme makes a significant contribution to building the capability and capacity of SME’s to take the first formal steps onto the export ladder. The programme assists SMEs to employ a sales resource, in either full time or part time capacity for up 12 months.

It is likely that the Customer will seek the Service Provider to demonstrate improvements and/or price reductions before considering an extension. For any extension(s) to the Contract, discussions with the Service Provider shall be conducted sufficiently far in advance of the Contract expiry date to arrive at an agreed position. Office for Students: Contract for Fit and Proper (FPP) checks

When providers of higher education in England apply to register with the Office for Students, the registration team conduct FPP checks on key individuals as part of the initial registration process and on an ongoing basis as part of the ongoing conditions of registration. The supplier is expected to provide a way of enabling the OfS to check whether key individuals at each provider applying to register with the OfS are fit and proper. The checks may be conducted on individuals the OfS consider relevant and would include roles such as (but not limited to) the accountable officer, the Chair of the governing body or the company secretary.
