Description

The Skills & Apprenticeship Hub Team are part of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and Strategic Investment Fund (SIF).
A ‘Priority Training Support’ programme is being developed to support locally based employers. The priority areas have been developed from a survey undertook with LCR employers in June 2021. These priority training areas have been separated into 19 Lots.
LCRCA is looking for organisations to deliver a series of short yet focused and challenging training programmes that adhere to a predetermined framework of elements that are detailed within the specifications for each of the lots.
The framework will run for 4 years, funded by the above-mentioned schemes up until December 2022. When we will look to seek other funding streams in order to call of the framework in the future.
We have 18 lots listed below, each lot will be single party, suppliers may bid for a maximum of 3 lots in total:

Group Clinics Support - H&G Accelerators

NHS England wishes to engage specialist support in setting up group clinics, for the purposes of the NHS developing its role in work coaching i.e. to report to NHS England if and how NHS-provided work coaching might be delivered in a group rather than one-to-one model. This requirement is to purchase scoping (development) support from an expert in group clinics in NHS settings. This requirement does not include establishing or evaluating group models for work coaching. It is scoping to inform those subsequent opportunities. Workforce Development Services for Care Providers in Suffolk

The overarching requirement of this service is to support the care market regarding the forecast of the future needs of Suffolk customers. To increase awareness of good practice, have a stable workforce, encourage a positive culture with increased staff retention. To work with the council to identify and address gaps in the Suffolk social care workforce skills and training to enable them to deliver a range of care and support, from promoting independence to complex care. And work closely and positively, with all stakeholders to improve market capacity and better equipped to develop and be sustainable. Suffolk County Council has joined the government's Devolution Priority Programme (DPP), a fast-track programme towards devolution and local government reorganisation. Under the DPP it is proposed that: a) a Mayoral Combined County Authority (MCCA) for Norfolk and Suffolk is established, with strategic powers and headed by an elected mayor ("Devolution"). b) the existing two-tier council structure in Suffolk is abolished and replaced with one or more unitary councils covering the current geographical boundary of Suffolk ("LGR"). It is possible that both, one or neither of these changes will happen. These changes are declared as known risks as we do not yet know the implications of Devolution and/or LGR. As a result of LGR and Devolution, contract modifications may be necessary to novate, transfer or disaggregate the contract from the one you entered into to one or more successor authorities or the MCAA. Impacts could include changes to geographical boundaries, significant increases and/or decreases in the goods and/or services required due to the change in size/scope of any successor authority or the MCAA. This may also change the scope of the contract Interested Parties should refer to the Invitation to Tender and Contract Terms for the Known Risks.

NEET Prevention and Early Intervention Services

The Authority is looking to appoint a single Supplier to provide services to: Support young people in Liverpool aged 16-17 and those aged up to 25 with an Education, Health, Care Plan, (EHCP) who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) with the aim of moving those young people into appropriate positive activity. Support young people who have been identified at risk of NEET, in Year 11, as directed by the authority, as part of the NEET Prevention Strategy. The Authority has identified 3 strands of engagement services which will be required.
