Description

Contractors appointed to this contract are required to trim hedges either by hand or mechanical means as directed by Norse Highways. Contractors are required to provide verge maintenance works either by hand or mechanical means i.e. flail cutting machine.  It should be noted that this Lot is for cutting of heavy growth areas and is not an alternative to any existing rural grass cutting services.

GROUND MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

Amesbury Town Council wishes to appoint a Grounds' Maintenance Contractor on a 3-year contract covering Grass Cutting, Line Marking of Sports Pitches, Low Lying Tree Maintenance and Hedge and Shrub Maintenance. The deadline for submissions for this tender is 2nd January 2025. The contract will commence 1st April 2025. Shire Housing Association - Landscape Maintenance Works 2025-2028

The works will comprise the upkeep and regular maintenance of communal open and restricted areas of hard and soft landscaping and the upkeep of tenants’ gardens. Ad-hoc repair works will also be included to both hard and soft landscaping throughout the duration of the contract as instructed by the Association which will include, for example, replacement planting of shrubs and trees and renewal of slabbing and fencing, etc.
