Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB (BNSSG ICB) is extending the Specialist Community Urology Service with GP Care UK Ltd to 31st March 2025.
The Specialist Community Urology Service will provide a rapid access, one stop assessment and diagnostic service for routine urological conditions, delivered in non-hospital settings linked to the six GP Localities.  The provider will offer the following tests as part of the service, when clinically appropriate:
•	Flexible cystoscopy
•	Ultrasound scan
•	Flow rate
•	Urine analysis
The Service continues to provide excellent services and achieves very good reporting results, with no major concerns from the ICB. They have worked with the ICB to foster strong working relationships with local Trusts, helping to develop an integrated pathway for patients. Over recent months, the provider has been completing the onboarding of Trust consultants and has reported that this transition is developing well. 
The benefit of this collaboration between providers is evident in the work that has taken place between the provider, the Trust and the ICB Referrals Team. Given the backlogs the Acute providers are facing since the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to relieve pressure on the Trust, the three parties have been working to undertake a review of referrals, which were originally sent directly to the Trust. As a result, many of these referrals are being redirected to the provider, to divert some of the workload from the Trust which in turn is releasing capacity within the acute provision.
In addition, the current service is working toward the ambition for an integrated care system and the current service is a key enabler in the delivery of the Healthier Together vision to move activity from hospitals to community / primary care settings.
Recognising the pressures within the system and the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on services, the ICB has decided to direct-award a new Urology contract to GP Care under Regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, and that competition is absent for technical reasons.
The value of this notice is £3,095,284 for the period 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2025.

There is overwhelming evidence that proves breastfeeding provides substantial health and wellbeing benefits for mothers and babies which are experienced well beyond the period of breastfeeding itself. As well as contributing significantly to reducing health inequalities, benefits of breastfeeding can be categorised to the following: • Infant health: Breastfeeding protects children from a vast range of illnesses including infection, diabetes, asthma, heart disease and obesity, as well as cot death (sudden infant death syndrome). • Maternal health: Breastfeeding protects mothers from breast and ovarian cancers and heart disease. • Relationship-building: Breastfeeding supports the mother-baby attachment and relationship and the mental health of both baby and mother. Tameside and Oldham have significantly lower rates of breastfeeding initiation and 6-8 weeks continuation, compared to the England average. Therefore, Tameside Council, in partnership with Oldham Council, are looking to contract with a provider to implement and deliver a Breastfeeding Peer Support Service. It is expected that the Breastfeeding Peer Support Service will contribute to promoting a social and cultural shift where breastfeeding is viewed as the conventional way to feed a baby, as well as providing one to one and groups support.

Recommissioning of Victim Support Services, IDVA, ISVA, DA Perpetrator Programme & Early Intervention & Prevention

Under section 143 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, Police and Crime Commissioner’s (PCC’s) were given wide ranging powers to commission or provide victim services and are able to use Ministry of Justice (MoJ) annual grant funding to do this. At the national level, the MoJ commissions various victim support services, including a witness service, a homicide service, support for victims of human trafficking, and support for victims of rape through rape support centres, national telephone helplines, and other support for victims of domestic and sexual violence. Since 2015, the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner has used some of the annual MoJ grant funding and PCC funding to invest in and deliver the following (headlined only) services below: Victim Services: - ISVA & IDVA , and Since 2020, the Commissioner has used PCC funding and grant funding from the Home Office 'Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programmes Fund', to invest in and deliver the following West Mercia wide services: All Risk programmes consisting of: High - risk level , standard to medium risk and standard OOCR perpetrator programmes. The Commissioner is keen to hear from any service delivery provider(s) with experience of delivering: Child Exploitation Services, Sexual Violence Services or Domestic Abuse Services (which includes Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programmes), with a footprint or the ability to operate across the West Mercia geographic area.
