Description

The primary objective of attending MIPIM 2023 is to build on global awareness and business development activity undertaken in previous years and to build on the activity undertaken through the business and tourism programme (BATP), which has run in parallel with the Commonwealth Games to bring jobs, investment and visitors to the region.  
The aim of activity undertaken at MIPIM 2023 will: 
Secure inward investment to the West Midlands 
Build awareness of the West Midlands proposition and projects being a key catalyst for investor engagement and conversion 
Capitalise on the enhanced profile and perception change work enabled through the BATP. 
The West Midlands Growth Company will use MIPIM 2023 to: 
Raise the profile of the West Midlands region and the associated local authorities and combined authority with international investors, end users and suppliers 
Increase media coverage for the region and its constituent destinations 
Demonstrate the region's credentials as a place to do business  
Highlight the region's ability to attract and support investors  
Generate potential investment prospects  
Develop relationships into projects that will create private sector jobs 
Showcase specific development projects and create the platform for their promotion by our West Midlands Commercial Partners and our public sector shareholders. 
The project is seeking to appoint an organisation who can provide event production support, stand building, and AV prior to, during and post the West Midlands' attendance at MIPIM 2023. The successful supplier will need to manage all elements and provide co-ordination between them, as well as securing accommodation and managing additional events.

Windlesham Parish Council Festive Lights & Trees

Windlesham Parish Council is seeking contractors to provide Christmas trees and lighting for three distinct locations: Bagshot, Lightwater and Windlesham. To accommodate local preferences and logistical considerations, the tender specification is documented by village. Suppliers should be aware that this will be evaluated and awarded as a single tender for supply and installation across all three villages. Contracts will not be awarded separately. The selected contractor must be able to supply, install, and remove all rented lights, as well as supply and install Christmas trees and tree lights. In the event of an emergency, the contractor must be able to attend the site within two hours. For all other call-outs, attendance is required within 24 hours. For further details, please refer to Appendix 1, which provides detailed information on requirements, and Appendix 2, Standard Selection Questionnaire, which must be completed and submitted alongside your tender application. Please note that you must answer all questions in parts, 1, 2, and 3. To be considered, interested contractors must demonstrate a proven track record, supported by evidence of previous or current similar projects. Applicants must also provide at least one relevant reference and a copy of valid insurance, including public liability insurance of £10 million, a risk assessment, and a HERS certificate with their application. Contractors who meet these requirements are invited to complete the attached tender spreadsheet and submit an estimated cost breakdown for 3 consecutive years. Contractors should be aware that the tender will not be broken down into lots and will be awarded as a single contract. The Council reserves the right not to award the contract or to award the contract for either 1, 2, or 3 years. We kindly ask that all tender submissions be provided in hard copy, addressed to the Clerk at the Windlesham Parish Council office. The Big Bahooey Festival – 2026-2028

INVITATION TO TENDER DETAILS - THE BIG BAHOOEY FESTIVAL We are running a tender process with the intention of awarding a contract for the provision of a Festival Producer and are inviting suitably experienced / qualified organisations to tender. Event Date: Late May Bank holiday – 2026, 2027, 2028 and possible extension for 2029. HRP’s requirements: Please refer to the Specification of Requirements for full details. ‘The Big Bahooey’ will be staged at Hampton Court Palace during the late May Bank Holiday weekend. The event is a fun, family, arts-based festival, responding to the palace’s history as a pleasure palace and place for entertaining. The first Big Bahooey took place in May 2025 and we are looking to build on this success. We had a total of 21,000 visitors across three days and expect to increase this figure substantially going forward. As a result HRP are looking for a festival producer that prides themselves on being able to create and deliver large scale shows and diverse programmes that will attract social families; including fun circle shows, larger than life roving acts, colourful parades, interactive stage shows and unique spectacles for well-respected and successful family festivals and events all over the world. The festival will take place across the East Front gardens and will largely involve simple set ups with minimal infrastructure such as rope arenas, free-standing backdrops and basic staging all with flexible positioning. We would also like there to be a showstopper act that changes each year and is a complete surprise to the audience. There will be one main stage for headline performances.
