Description

Construction of a new school building; an adjacent leisure building to accommodate a swimming pool and a package of improvements to the existing leisure estate.
Scope of works
•	Construction of new three storey education building with classroom spaces, dining hall and kitchen
•	Construction of new leisure building to house a swimming pool and leisure reception
•	New external courtyard and landscaping
•	Refurbishment of existing leisure estate to provide improved facilities for school and community use
The form of contract is the JCT Standard Form of Standard Building Contract without Quantities 2016 edition (“JCT SBC/XQ”) with CDP including LBR Schedule of Amendments.

Invitation to Tender for Building Statutory Compliance Works, Planned and Reactive Maintenance, and Minor Works Framework

This is a joint procurement exercise undertaken by South Ribble Borough Council, Chorley Borough Council, South Ribble Leisure Company and Chorley Leisure Company (Contract Authorities/CA). The Contracting Authorities have a continuing requirement for the provision of reactive and planned improvement works across the Authorities portfolio. The aim of this framework is to ensure statutory compliance and efficient maintenance of assets, including reactive repair and maintenance, and planned minor/improvement works that attain a high level of customer satisfaction. The framework will be broken up into 13 lots. Three bidders will be awarded per lot. A Bidding Organisation can only be awarded on a maximum of two lots. The number one ranked supplier in the lot will be awarded the servicing/call out element of the contract, the other two suppliers will be eligible to compete for higher-value projects throughout the lifecycle of the framework. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to use the second and/or third ranked contractor within the lot for service/call out element if they deem it necessary due to poor performance or capacity issues from the number one ranked contractor. The maximum number of successful bidders in each Lot may increase where two (2) or more bidders have tied scores. In instances of extreme urgency (i.e. Health and Safety issues) The Contracting Authority reserves the right to Direct Award higher value projects to the number one ranked supplier if deemed necessary. This is detailed further in document 4 (Specification). DBOM TENDER FOR A NEW BASINGSTOKE LEISURE CENTRE

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ('the Authority') is commencing a Competitive Dialogue procedure to find a leisure specialist partner to deliver a new water and leisure complex in Basingstoke. The contract opportunity is for the award of the BDBC Leisure DBOM Contract (the Contract) which comprises the following leisure centres: - Design and build a replacement Facility for the Aquadrome - Aquadrome current facility operation, until transfer of service to the new Facility - Tadley Health and Fitness Centre operation - Basingstoke Golf Centre operation Following previous consultation, facilities at the new complex should include a 25-metre eight-lane competition pool, 20-metre four-lane teaching pool, leisure waters with flumes, a 150-station gym, three studios and a spin studio, an indoor clip and climb or similar adventure-style activity, indoor adventure soft play, party rooms and café. Leisure specialists are being invited to submit first stage Selection Questionnaire (SQ) responses for the scheme. Following detailed dialogue work with short-listed suppliers that demonstrate the relevant interest, experience, and capability to deliver the project, it is anticipated that a preferred partner would be identified, approved by the Authority and awarded the final contract in May 2026. Detailed information on the overall scheme, including programmes; specifications and response documents are available to access once registered and expression of interest confirmed on ProContract. The Authority is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued to Tenderers and all communications with the Authority, including the submission of Tenderers' Responses, will be conducted via the ProContract system, which can be accessed using the following link: https://procontract.due-north.com/Register Please note expressions of interest must be registered before 11:00:00 Friday 20th December 2024.
