Urgent Repair and Jobbing Contracts 2025-2029

The contracts are for urgent repairs and jobbing works to Angus Council properties (excluding council housing). The contracts cover a range of trades with individual orders for works which are of an urgent repair, minor alteration or maintenance in nature being placed with the appropriate appointed contractors. The contracts will run from the 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2029. Contractors will be appointed on a trade and area basis and where possible standby contractor(s) will be put in place. The maximum value of any one order is restricted to GBP 50 000. The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for demolition works. Scope of Requirement: The works involve demolition of the Brook Hill Hall Building, adjoining single storey link building and associated alterations to the boundary walls enclosing the site. Upon completion of demolition, the site is to receive a compacted hardcore surfacing, in addition to reinstatement of the pocket park areas disturbed, application of new Bitmac surfacing to selected areas, construction of a new memorial feature and reinstatement of the existing stone bay windows. The works are to be delivered and sequenced in accordance with the DICE demolition strategy, under one contract.
