Description

The Term Contract for Environmental Maintenance will include the following work activities: cleaning drainage systems, inspection of piped drainage systems, weed control, maintenance of grass areas, removal of fallen trees and other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts: EMN2 - Mid and East Antrim / Antrim and Newtownabbey ; EME2 - Lisburn and Castlereagh; EMS2 - Newry, Mourne and Down / North Down and Ards; EMW3 - Fermanagh and Omagh.

Facilities Management Services including TUPE

St Gregory's Catholic College ("the Authority") seeks to appoint an experienced Facilities-Management (FM) partner to deliver an integrated hard- and soft-FM service across the College's estate in Bath (postcode BA2 8PA). The successful contractor will assume single-point responsibility for statutory compliance, reactive and planned maintenance, staff management and value-for-money service delivery, in line with the Procurement Act 2023 light-touch regime for above-threshold services. The contract will support the school's objective of moving from a mixed in-house / multi-supplier model to a single accountable FM solution. Scope of Services The Authority expects tenders to cover, as a minimum, the functions listed below: • TUPE and management of existing staff teams (see Appendix 2) and note core and variant bids • Waste Management • Security (inclusion locking and unlocking, as required) • Grounds Maintenance (including upkeep of sports field) • Ongoing repairs and maintenance • Rolling decoration programme • Energy Management • Servicing of all Boilers and other Plant • Porterage services, as required in operational hours • Management of digitised premises system • Management of school risk assessments and risk registers • Asbestos management • Purchasing of required materials • Reporting to Senior Leaders and Governors (and any other stakeholders, as required) • Liaising with other key stakeholders as required (Local Authority; HSE; DFE) • Full project delivery for minor works Procurement Procedure: Notice type: UK4 - Tender notice (light-touch contract). Procedure: Open procedure (standard 25-day tender period; no reduction applied). Electronic submission: All documents must be downloaded and returned via the linked e-tender portal. Evaluation: Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) - split 50 % Quality / 40 % Price / 10 % Social Value, detailed criteria in the ITT. Flood Cell 06, Snape Maltings

The Upper Alde & Ore Estuary Embankment Improvements scheme will reduce tidal flood riskand enhance the environment in the Upper Alde and Ore Estuary. The Alde and Ore Estuary is vulnerable to flooding from the sea made worse by the poor condition of many of the flood defences. The proposed Flood Cell 06, Snape Maltings scheme is 1 of 4 cells identified to improve the Standard of Service of the existing flood defences and provide resilience to withstand 300mm of overtopping from a 1:200+ year event, given predicted sea levels in 2050. The Client is theEast Suffolk Water Management Board. In summary, the scope of Works for the project includes civil engineering works (but is not limited to):  Establish main site offices, compound, temporary services and access routes.  Alliance House - Installation of approximately 20m of new demountable defences along the quay side with piled and concrete slab foundation;  River Alde Quay - Installation of approximately 120m of new demountable defences along the northern quay side with piled and concrete slab foundation;  Henry Moore Lawn - Improvement to approximately 80metres of earth flood embankment to be constructed in a passive fashion to provide improved flood protection and amenity and access value around the Henry Moore Lawn area terminating at the northeastern edge of the Concert Hall building; and  Terrace Car Park - Improvement to approximately 100metres of earth flood embankment, incorporating pedestrian access provision, constructed from the River Cafe terrace area, terminating into the southeast car park area. The works are estimated to cost around £2.3million. The form of contract will be a NEC4 ECC Option A.
