Description

Ards and North Down Borough Council (ANDBC or the Client) is developing a long-term vision for a Regional Park running from Belfast to Comber; Newtownards; Donaghadee and back to Belfast (the boundary being 50km of a new greenway scheme). Whitespots Country Park at Newtownards (the Project) will be the nucleus for this Regional Park, a development of a new multi-use recreational facility with trails and interpretation of the unique story of the site. ANDBC is looking to appoint an Economic Operator to lead a multidisciplinary design consultancy team (ICT) to undertake the Design, Specifications, Procurement, Supervision, and overall Project Management from RIBA Stage 0 through to RIBA Stage 7 for Whitespots Country Park.

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of a potential opportunity to participate in a construction and estate maintenance related professional services framework to support various building and civil engineering projects as part of the Business As Usual (BAU) requirements at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The STFC intends to engage with potential providers through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) event and subsequent PME activities. The publication of this early engagement opportunity is a voluntary publication and does not represent a commitment by the STFC to initiate, run or complete a full procurement competition in relation to a contract for the services described. The STFC is a world-leading research and innovation organisation, with a unique role within UKRI. UKRI is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The STFC is responsible for hosting and operating many of the UK's largest multi-disciplinary research facilities which are essential to delivering UKRI's collective ambitions. The sessions will last no more than 3 hours and a maximum of two attendees from each supplier organisation to register for the sessions (start time to be approx 10am, and will be confirmed).
