Primary care medical provision for the patients of Sollershot Surgery

The purpose of this Notice is to notify the market of the award of a short-term contract to 12 Point Care (GP Federation) to provide primary medical care services to the registered population of Sollershot Surgery, Letchworth Garden City, East and North Hertfordshire. The service is being delivered under an Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) Contract and is due to expire on 30th June 2023. The service has been delivered by 12 Point Care since 1st July 2018 and was awarded via a competitive process for a 3-year period with a 2-year optional extension. The contract awarded to 12 Point Care will be to deliver the services for a further 6 months ending on 31st December 2023. The new short-term contract will allow commissioners sufficient time to undertake market engagement and inform a full options appraisal for the longer-term service from 1st January 2024 whilst ensuring continuity of care for the registered patients of the surgery. Further notices will be published to inform the market of the next steps for this contract when the options appraisal has been completed.

Primary care medical provision for the registered population of Spring House Medical Centre

This Notice is to inform the market of the award of a short-term contract for primary care medical services delivered to the registered population of Spring House Medical Centre (Y02639) in the East and North Hertfordshire area. The contract award is being made by Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board as the contracting authority. These services are currently delivered under an Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contract by Ephedra, Welhat Federation which has been in place since 1st April 2018 and is due to expire on 31st March 2023. A short-term (6 month) extension has been agreed to allow the Authority to conduct robust market engagement which will be used to inform the commissioning and procurement intentions for these services following their expiry.
