The location of this project is Cyprus (British Forces, RAF Akrotiri)

WC1587863 

Reconstruction of the Bulk Fuel Bower Park of D Dispersal (airfield), as per the design carried out 
under WC1315862 , the Works comprise, but not limited to, the following:
 
- Break up and remove from site the existing concrete layers and other bound material layers.

- Excavate further to reduce levels to sound subgrade.

- Load proof subgrade and supply and lay Type 1 Granular Fill

- Erect formwork, lay polythene sheet, cast brush finish concrete and form joints.

- Seal joints with approved fuel resistant sealant.

- Mark the Refueler Bowser Access Entrance and Parking Area.

- Provide New Earth Points

- Drain Channels

New Interceptors as per the design carried out under WC1299848, the Works comprise, but not limited to, the following: 

- Break up and remove from site the existing asphalt and concrete layers and other bound 
material layers

- Excavate further to reduce levels to the required levels and sound subgrade

- Carry out works to install the interceptors and connect to the new drainage channels and 
main water discharge system

- Reconstruct the defective asphalt parking area with concrete to match the BFVP project 
layout 

- Load proof subgrade and supply and lay Type 1 Granular Fill

- Erect formwork, lay polythene sheet, cast brush finish concrete and form joints.

- Mark the Sterile Area Markings at the Dispersal Entrance 
Further restrictions/instructions:

- Existing topsoil: excavate from required areas to an average depth of 150mm and keep 
separate, including bulbs. Upon completion of the works topsoil to be spread to areas at 
the same locations

- Trees that need to be trimmed / cut, as per the instructions of Environmental advisor, 
works should be carried out by Ground Maintenance (CSP JV).

- Materials to be delivered early on site

- Ground maintenance 

- Environmental restrictions

- Antiquities

- Expression of interest: Monday 1stDecember 2025                                                                                         - Expression of interest return: Monday 08th December 2025                                                                     - Invitation to Tender: Monday 12th January 2026                                                                                           - Tender Return Date: Monday 23rd February 2026                                                                                                - Contract award (Materials Order): Monday 22nd June 2026                                                                       - Commencement of work: Monday 6 th July 2026                                                                                          - Completion of work (All Sites): Wednesday 30th June 2027                                                                         The currency of this project is Euro (€).

The location of this project is Cyprus (British Forces, RAF Akrotiri)

Work commencement and completion dates will be subject to MOD DIO`s agreement or revisions depending on general site operational requirements or limitations.
