Description

o Undertake a literature review to identify a list of measures that were used in the past in the United Kingdom to reduce summertime overheating. The measures should not include design decisions based on location, exposure or orientation etc, or any measures that cannot be reintroduced or retrofitted to an existing building.  
      o  Undertake a literature review to identify a list of measures that were or continue to be used in Mediterranean climates to reduce summertime overheating. The measures should not include design decisions based on location, exposure or orientation etc, or any measures that cannot be reintroduced or retrofitted to an existing building. 
      o Evaluate each of the identified measures in relation to its installation and use including its technical practicality and impact on the structure of the building, the fire risk, and its resilience to the risk of increased storm events, as well as any maintenance implications and longevity.
