Description

Bidders are invited to tender for the Demolition of 2 (Crimea Tavern) and 4 Savile Road, Castleford. This project is being undertaken by Wakefield Council as part of the regeneration of the Castleford area and specifically part of the Riverside Regeneration project. The buildings numbered 2 and 4 Saville Road (Crimea tavern and adjacent residential building) will be demolished, (asbestos removed where identified) and slabs removed to create the required space for the greening area post demolition.

The Council intends on awarding a contract by the 25th March 2025 with demolition period commencing 1st May 2025.   

The terms and conditions for this project will be NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract June 2017 (with amendments January 2023), Main Option A, with Additional Conditions of Contract (see Core and Additional Clauses). Allow for the obligations, liabilities and services described.
