Description

This contract is essential for Highways Maintenance team to deliver statutory duties, including:
- minor maintenance works;
- minor coated macadam patching and pothole reinstatement to carriageways and footways;
- relaying and replacing slabs;
- relaying and replacing kerbs and channels;
- adjusting boxes;
- fixing and adjusting small signs;
- cutting and trimming trees, hedges and shrubs;
- removing obstructions from the highway;
- providing assistance to the emergency services;
- reacting to civil contingencies which may include severe weather events and oil spills;

The contract is intended to last for an initial 8 year period with two optional 2 year extensions.

Estimated value is £2million per annum (up to £16million for the initial period and up to £24million if all extension exercised).

NRM Great Hall Road Repairs

The Science Museum Group ("SMG", the "Authority") is the world's pre-eminent Museum devoted to the history of science, technology, industry and Medicine.
